The Team And Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Equipment team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Equipment team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Electrical Engineer. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of engineering, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate damages to different types of electrical and electronic systems, such as, circuit breakers, transformers, power distribution, switchgear, generators, bus ducts, information technology equipment, electronic systems, and a variety of other electrical/electronic equipment.
• Conduct configuration audits.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to determine comparable equipment replacements.
• Provide research for determining costs associated with equipment replacement (i.e., new and used).
• Determine fair market equipment appraisals. Expected to produce 3+ page written reports regularly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering with over 5 years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• A desire to learn, excel and grow with us and within the profession

Physical And Mental Job Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel to various project sites.
• Must be able to access and inspect all areas of mechanical, electrical and/or IT equipment
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling and lifting.
