Education/Experience Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED, Completion of an accredited (8,000 hours) apprentice program or technical school program or college degree in the electrical field.
* 4+ years of electrical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment including a familiarity with PLC programming, operation of digital drives, and setup, and maintenance of complicated electrical equipment

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Electrician for our plant in Carlisle, PA. The Electrician plans, lays out, and performs all operations related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of complicated electrical equipment and circuitry. The person in this position installs, maintains, and repairs electric motors, digital drives, high voltage circuits, and electrical control panels. Work for this position involves utilizing knowledge of the electrical trade and the understanding of Plant operating principles to ensure that equipment functions properly and safely.

Compensation:

Starting at $36.96/hour

Shift differential of $0.30/hour

$3,000 Sign on Bonus!

Schedule:

Third shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday - Thursday

OT some weekends

Job Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintain electric motors.
* Maintain all associated equipment for the electric motors, including drives.
* Install and repair electronic equipment including sensors, control panels, temperature controllers, PLCs, etc.
* Maintain and install electric services in CCM buildings including lighting, HVAC, etc.
* Install new equipment-mount fixtures, run conduit, pull wire, connect wiring, etc.
* Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns.
* Perform machine changeovers for all plant processes and products.
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
* Complete required paperwork.
* Tend to the Boiler Room.
* Calibrate scales and equipment
