We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Daramic where we develop and manufacture advanced lead-acid battery separators that are driving innovation in transportation and industrial applications with cars, trucks, forklifts, and golf carts as well as ESS.

Job Description:

Daramic is a union manufacturing facility that supports 24/7 operations. Daramic's current manufacturing shift schedules are 12-hour rotating Dupont and an 8-hour 21-Swing. Schedules are not guaranteed and are based on the position assigned to. Potential openings may include but are not limited to the Extruding, Extracting and Finishing areas. Daramic provides on-the-job training for all positions.

Duties:

Operate and transfer material via fork truck, on-the-job training

Operate Extruding, Extracting and Finishing equipment

Observe equipment to ensure material is running to proper

Enter lab data into computer system

Use measuring tools: calipers and gauges

Record tests in required computer system

Ability to do continuous packing motion while standing during a twelve-hour shift

Lift boxes up to 50lbs with lift assist tools

Make labels and boxes

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Education: High School Graduate, College Degree a plus
• Professional experience: Manufacturing experience
• Languages: English
• Know-how: Set up and operate extruding, extraction and finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
