Your Role:

EMD Serono in Rockland, MA is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative and business operations support to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the US Oncology therapeutic area as well as basic support for other administrative colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plan for and execute on all of the SVP's administrative needs, providing the highest quality of flawless administrative support with the utmost professionalism, engagement, and confidentiality.
  • Play a key role as a member of the function's Senior Leadership Team by not only tracking decisions and follow up but having a voice at meetings and presenting ideas, recommendations, and solutions beyond a traditional administrative role.
  • Assist and provide recommendations regarding planning and execution of "off-site" meetings, globally and locally including not only logistics but ideas on content for the meetings as well.
  • Act as the voice and face of the department - always presenting with the highest level of engagement, professionalism, courtesy, and customer service becoming a trusted member of the function as well as the broader organization.
  • May assist other leaders with administrative tasks.
  • Travel up to 5%

Who you are:

Minimum qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' professional experience supporting senior-level management
  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred qualifications:
  • Proven experience and examples of developing and maintaining relationships across functions
  • Excellent written communication - the ability to use clear, concise writing as powerful communication tool creating impactful and actionable written communication
  • Very high proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proven experience in the ability to convey complex information and analyses in easily understood formats
  • Operating knowledge of SAP
  • US Pharma experience with a deep understanding of current legal and regulatory environment
  • Project and vendor management experience
