RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Executive Assistant in Washington, DC.Summary:The main function of an Executive Assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. A typical Executive Assistant will act as information and communication to managers for an office.Job Responsibilities:
  • Executive Assistant will perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board and other meetings
  • Serve as administrative assistant to a VP
  • As an Executive Assistant, you will handle all scheduling, travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Work with team on all issues


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 5-7 years of experience required
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential
  • Experience working with executives highly preferred


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
