SUMMARY
Currently seeking a financial analyst to support all FP&A business requirements, including monthly and quarterly close procedures, budgeting/forecasting, validating inventory accuracy, and profitability analysis. This role collaborates with other members of the Accounting and Finance teams, both internal & external auditors, as well as site level operations & senior leadership.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Primary responsibilities will include the preparation of analysis of monthly financial results compared to annual budget and monthly forecasts, support in development, analysis, and maintenance of standard costs, department variance analysis, pricing analysis, and the assembly of monthly sales analysis reporting.
* Develop analysis and support division in tracking of labor and overhead spending variances and trends. Interpret monthly plant variance reports and develop action plans with management to address areas of concern.
* Evaluate need for procurement of capital funds. Advise management on effective use of resources and methods for short- and long-range financial projects.
* Coordinate the completion of business plans and forecasts, budgetary comparisons, profit analyses, operations reviews, appropriate requests, and other financially related documents
* Assist with an accurate monthly, quarterly and annual close process as it pertains to GL accounting & financial reporting
* Support the reconciliation process of all general ledger & balance sheet accounts
* Supporting both our internal and external auditors with requests including monitoring and SOX efforts.
* Ability to understand IT systems in place, and seek out IT solutions to create efficiencies in financial reporting while maintaining accordance with SOX.
* Assisting with special projects, and cross training in other areas as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with CA state law, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Carlisle Interconnect Technologies reviews factors such as but not limited to responsibilities of the position, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal pay equity, as well as market considerations when extending an offer.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* 1-2+ years accounting or relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
JOB SKILLS
* Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
* Proficient in MS Office & ERP systems, SAP preferred
* Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment
* Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands
* Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment preferred. Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S related performance teams.
* A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
