Fleet Pick-Up Coordinator (Part-Time)

We are searching for a Fleet Pick-Up Coordinator (Part-Time) for our Commerce Distribution Center, located at 5500 Sheila St, Commerce, California, 90040. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for performing and administrating the logistics coordination of Company drivers.

 Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Selects, assigns and prioritizes daily routing of purchase orders identified as vendor pick-ups.
• Communicates and schedules company driver's to pick-up vendor freight, and coordinate warehouse unloading times.
• Determines and assigns cost efficient alternative carrier freight movements.
• Audits, analyzes and provides prior day activity report to Traffic Management.
• Responsible for vendor freight charge backs, purchase orders, and Freight Management data input.

 Candidates must possess the following skills:

• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Ability to meet deadlines
• High attention to detail

Required Qualifications:

Must have at least two to five years related experience in computerized data management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
