Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Forensic Social Worker (LICSW) in the Adult Court Clinic program at Behavioral Health Network!

**NOTICE**

In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Adult Court Clinic program with the following:

• Providing court-ordered evaluations for involuntary civil commitment for substance abuse and/or psychiatric treatment.
• Performing aid in sentencing evaluations as ordered by the courts.
• Providing testimony to the courts, as needed.
• Consulting with various stakeholders (judges, attorneys, probation officers, jail mental health staff, and community treatment providers) about the disposition of persons before the court with mental health and substance abuse issues.

The Adult Court Clinic staff are a group of licensed psychologists and social workers who provide mental health evaluation and consultation services to the District and Superior Courts in the four counties of Western Massachusetts.

What are we looking for in a Forensic Social Worker?

• Master's in Social Work (required).
• Licensure as an LICSW in Massachusetts (required).
• At least one year of experience working with adults with severe mental illness and/or substance use disorders (required).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
• Strong assessment, writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills (required).
• Comfortable working in criminal justice settings (required).
• Highly motivated and independent (required).
• Exceptional organizational and clinical skills (required).
• Valid driver\'s license and the ability to travel for work (required).
