This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to policies and procedures

Tasks

• "The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation"
• These positions could work in any department of the Processing/Harvest facility. Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift and carry 40 pounds or more. Must work in extreme cold or hot , wet humid environments (35 degrees to 40 degrees), (65 degrees to 100 degrees), use of hands and arms above shoulder level and stand 8-10 hours per day.
• Positions will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines. remove the hide from the cattle, trim large pieces of product or run heavy pieces of equipment Some positions may involve the use of powered equipment such as air knives, wizard knives, saws and skinner machines.
• Must be able and willing to work B Shift. Limited openings for A-Shift. This facility runs up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday.Shift placement will depend on current hiring needs and rehire eligibility.
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit
