Advertised Job Summary:

The primary role of the P4 Handle With Care/Mental Wellness Program Coordinator (P4HWC/MWPC) position is to provide follow-up support to school personnel, community agencies, families, and children identified through the HWC notification system, and to facilitate mental wellness training/workshops and follow up resources to educators/school staff, law enforcement personnel, and first responders working within the HWC framework.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in mental health, social work, counseling, education, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in education, social work, counseling, or related field;
Preferred Qualifications:

LMSW, LISW, LMT, LPC preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of early childhood development and trauma-informed practices;
  • Working knowledge of CAC roles and responsibilities;
  • Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool such as Redcap, Excel, or other university-supported programs;
  • Demonstrated project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth;
  • Excellent public speaking and training skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
