Job Details:
The successful candidate will be required to transfer eggs from farm racks to setter carts; respond to hatchery alarms; create a chart of eggs set and track egg inventory; set eggs in the incubator, plus basic maintenance and other duties when required.
The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, and push heavy racks of eggs; be self-motivated (little or no supervision on shift); be able to wear a full-face respirator; have basic maintenance knowledge and have good math skills. Also, this candidate must be able to work well with others and maintain a good work ethic.
Applicants will be considered for any labor-type opening in the hatchery. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a cold, damp, or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
6-Months of experience in this field must be documented in the job work history or in the resume.
