Overview:

The Head of Total Rewards, Americas is responsible for defining and driving strategic direction and the build of the Total Rewards function for the Siemens Healthineers Americas region. This role reports into the Head of Total Rewards, Regions.

In this role you will manage a team of reward professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities.

Key accountabilities:

Team Management:

• You will lead a team of reward professions based in America and Latin America

• Develop, support and mentor the team

Strategy Implementation:

• Ensure global total reward objectives and initiatives are implemented in the region.

• Recommend/implement changes as appropriate to support competitive market practice.

Total Rewards Program Management:

• Lead the implementation and operational aspects of total rewards programs, including base salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, retirement plans, insurable employee benefits or health and wellness programs within the region.

• Work closely with the global reward teams to ensure there is alignment on regional topics and initiatives.

• For Mobility programs you will take the lead in ensuring our cross-border mobility programs meet business demands, supportive of talent strategy and take the lead to engage with and consult country leadership in cross-border moves.

Total Rewards Projects:

• Drive key strategic HR and total rewards projects in the region

• Drive the successful delivery of Workday and Payroll implementation - a critical and strategic HR project for the company.

Market intelligence & Insights:

• Provide expertise advise on market intelligence and insights to country HR Heads

• Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to analyze total reward data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

• Effectively collaborate and partner with multiple stakeholders including global and regional total reward colleagues, Head of HR, Americas, HR leadership team, Senior Business leaders, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Compliance.

• Act as point of escalation for your area of responsibility

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to total reward programs.

Communication and Education:

• Develop communication strategies and educational materials to effectively communicate total reward programs and initiatives to HR and employees, promoting understanding and transparency.

Mergers & Acquisitions:

• You will lead and coordinateM&A activities (incl. carve-outs and integration) jointly with relevant HR M&A workstreams and Country, Zone and/or Regional HR teams.

• For our recent acquisition of Varian, a global cancer therapy leader with more than 11,000 employees globally, you will be leading the total rewards integration in your regionAmericas.

Your qualifications and experience:

Education:

• You have a (master's) degree in business administration or a comparable discipline, ideally with a focus on HR or finance

Experience:

• Demonstrable track record as Compensation & Benefits trusted partner in a multinational environment, (at least 10 years of experience) within the Americas region

• Experience in working in an international environment with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, and managing a remote team successfully

• Proven track record in strategically developing global compensation & benefits concepts and programs and driving them to implementation

• Experience in using data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decision making
