Provides Human Resources (HR) services across the organization to both internal and external customers with primary responsibilities in Employee Benefits. The incumbent is responsible for answering high volume phone calls and emails from employees, managers and other customers for all benefit and leave of absence related matters. In addition, assists callers and walk-ins and provides them with thorough, timely, and accurate information to address questions and needs. Responsible for administering benefits for new hires, life events, job changes and processing these enrollments in various benefit systems. The HR Associate will also be responsible for reviewing and processing employee separations. In addition, the individual will provide support as needed to the Benefits Specialists. Incumbent will need to understand and maintain knowledge of HR and benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in human resources or a related field; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in human resources or a related field.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
