SUMMARY

    Responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level while working closely with all levels of the company. Employee relations, performance management systems, audits, recruitment, special projects directly related to Human Resources and other assigned duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Participate in internal departmental audits administering corrective actions based on compliance with state and federal regulation.
  • Coordinate management performance reviews and goals in ADP WFN – administration for each employee.
  • Review and update changes to policies and job descriptions.
  • Performs administrative support work; specific duties vary.
  • Assists and support department functions, such as meeting planning, preparing documents, or coordinating activities.
  • Collects, compiles, records or otherwise gathers data and prepares standard reports with information necessary for decision-making.
  • Typical use of computer applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook for processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and/or scheduling.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; plus seven years’ experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferably ADP Workforce Now. Previous experience using ADP products. Knowledge of (FLSA), COBRA and other government regulations that impact Human resources.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate depending on traffic in the office. The noise volume can be loud when assisting employees in the shop or posting.
