The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator will provide recruiting and administrative support to the Recruitment team by reviewing applicants, scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers, drafting offer letters and facilitating background checks. They should also be interested in other aspects of the recruiting process such as identifying market trends, creative sourcing activities, and reporting. They will focus on continuous improvement and training of the evolving recruiting process. The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator position is a process driven, detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives working in an educational and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment cycle to include: meeting with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and recruitment strategy; creating requisitions and postings, coordinating and participating in interviews, tracking applicant status, coordinating background and references, providing timely updates to the system and appropriate players, adjudicating backgrounds, checking references and offers of employment.

Serves as primary contact for all recruiting questions via telephone, e-mail and in person. Provides technical assistance to applicants and departments utilizing the on-line recruitment system and other vendors.

Creates, reviews and maintains job postings and job templates for positions. Also, maintains job files for all positions.

Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as social media sites, job boards, career fairs, online job fairs and other creative sourcing methods to identify and attract quality candidates.

Proctors pre-employment tests. Enters data into applicant testing site for online testing, follow up with candidates who have not tested and troubleshoot when candidates have problems with the testing site. Administer or coordinate applicant writing samples and on-site skills testing. Communicate results to managers.

Schedule applicants for interviews and send invites through Cornerstone. Verify that committee members have attended interview training. Communicate and process applicant travel procedures as needed for traveling applicants.

Pre-screen applicants in Cornerstone. Serve as back up to Recruitment Manager for review of applicants and interviews.

Attend job fairs, conferences, and trainings for the college as determined by the Recruitment Manager.

Maintain a pipeline of qualified applicants.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business strongly preferred.

Three years related experience including experience with recruiting and sourcing procedures. Experience in a fast-paced administrative environment is essential; a recruitment environment experience is strongly preferred.

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or an equivalent tracking system.

MS Word, Excel, Outlook scheduling and Teams expertise critical.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Great flexibility and ability to advance a high volume of work under tight deadlines.

Ability to identify potential issues and escalate as appropriate and/or recommend solution.

Excellent customer service skills.

Self-organized and self-motivated to meet expected outcomes, not just tasks
