Advertised Job Summary:

High school diploma and 5 years commercial maintenance and repair services relating to all mechanical and HVAC systems. Must be EPA universal refrigerant certified or obtain certification within 6 months of hiring date. Valid South Carolina driver's license required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma and 5 years commercial maintenance and repair services relating to all mechanical and HVAC systems. Must be EPA universal refrigerant certified or obtain certification within 6 months of hiring date. Valid South Carolina driver's license required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of the application and use of testing equipment utilized in checking, testing, and analyzing mechanical systems such as volt, ohm and amp meters, phase and rotation testers, vibration analysis equipment, mega-ohm meters, multi-meters, static pressure meter, etc. Knowledge and experience in the fabrication and installation of materials and equipment required by HVAC and its control systems and the knowledge or national and local codes requirements.

Job Duty:

Under limited supervision, maintains and follows a safe, productive, cost effective, and comprehensive planned and corrective maintenance program for constant reliable operations relating to all facility HVAC mechanical needs with in assigned buildings by receiving work orders; communicating with the Call Center and the supervisor. Plans, inspects, verifies, communicates, and problem solves needs for assigned facility HVAC . Ensures that all facility HVAC mechanical related needs are performed per specifications and common practices while exhibiting professionalism in conduct, appearance, and work practices.
