JOB DESCRIPTION

LEAD MAN - BRS FIELD Technician
Performs high quality mold mitigation and HVAC cleaning, ductwork cleaning disinfecting, restoration and sanitizing meeting corporate QA/QC guidelines

Supports Field Remediation Supervisor in performing their duties.

Adheres to industry standard protocol for department.

Performs equipment maintenance

Performs HVAC Remediation

Performs Duct Cleaning

Performs Microbial Mitigation

Performs HVAC Restoration services

Performs decontamination

Performs Installation of air purification systems

Performs all Contractual services for local and non-local clients utilizing company provided vehicles

Interfaces with and helps support Building Sciences workers.

Company training and passing grade for Applicator training (various restoration products, Remediation Process training, Customer Service training, HVAC training, Intro to Micro and IAQ 101 training, Leadman Career Path training

Capable of troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems

Assists with Inventory Control and usage

Understands blueprints and HVAC symbols

This position will also have interaction with client contacts (i.e.: facilities personnel, tenants).

Read, be familiar with and adhere to the PACS Employee Handbook and Customer Service Guide

Read, be familiar with and adhere to the OSHA Policy and any Health and Safety Manuals/Training
Key responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing and assisting all facets of HVAC remediation, duct cleaning and microbial mitigation.

Position should be dependent on the Field Remediation Supervisor regarding day to day operations.
Immediate Supervisor
This position reports directly to the Field Remediation Supervisor and/or Lead Man.
Job Grade
Non-exempt
Personal Requirements
Should possess a high school diploma or GED and practical experience (or vocational training) in HVAC work, Microbial mitigation, IAQ, or construction trades.

Must be able to pass government (and other) background checks, drug screen and MVR driving record check (no points)

Excellent communication skills

Excellent Organizational skills

This position will require the ability to assume additional responsibilities as the firm continues to grow or as needed by the immediate supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Position works in BRS Department where contaminants exist.

Applicable OSHA and other regulatory Safety equipment must be worn according to company policy.

Travel may be as high as 100%.

Present territories cover national and international destinations.

Overnight absences required, typically, four nights per week.

This position can be physically and emotionally demanding

This person may run crews and perform other management duties as necessary

This position may fill in for supervisors on vacation, leave of absence, etc.

This position may have contact with all levels of PACS and BRS management

This position will also have interaction with client contacts (i.e.: facilities personnel, tenants).

Field work production and quality assurance is the ultimate goal of this position

This position is expected to be 100% billable to BRS remediation projects.
