RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Milwaukee, WI that is seeking an Information Systems Assistant/Help Desk.Summary:Under the supervision of the Information Systems Manager, the Information Systems Assistant/Help Desk provides front line customer service and support to the agency. They will ensure that requests for support are dealt with promptly and appropriately. This person effectively troubleshoots technical issues related to IT systems and applications. Installs and configures computer hardware, software, telephone, and other associated peripherals. As an Information Systems Assistant/Help Desk, you will assist in the troubleshooting of network systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Associate degree in Computer Networking preferred; Degree in another related field may substitute
  • Two years of experience in an Information Systems support role required, preferably in a healthcare-related field in a service or support capacity; Technical troubleshooting ability and experience required
  • Past job experience combined with years of experience in an IT Support environment may substitute for educational requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft environments, Active Directory, desktop support, asset management, shared printing and services, networking, and software preferred


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
