Infrastructure Project Coordinator - 100% Remote!

My top client is looking to add a Project Coordinator who has experience with infrastructure to their team! This is a long contract role that is 100% remote!

The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for the administrative functions of project management. A project coordinator will work with project managers to identify key opportunities to help deliver the project on-time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Works with project managers and IT governance to manage and track actual and forecasted spend for each project assigned.
• Ensures all purchases are planned, invoiced, and assigned the correct project financial codes.
• Ensures each project resource is accurately accounting for project time.
• Ensures all assets purchased or built are accounted and tagged.
• Eorks with project managers and resource managers to assign project tasks in service now based on the project plan.
• Works with project resources to ensure final documentation is loaded to project SharePoint.
• Able to manage small infrastructure or application development projects
• Coordinates with Project Managers and Project Members to setup test planning
• Coordinates with Project Members to document and setup test cases and test data
• Ensures guidelines and instructions are aligned with 3rd party providers
• Secures alignment with Global IT PMO office

Skills

• Excellent planning and analytical skills
• Effectively manage responsibilities across multiple project managers and escalate when competing priorities interfere with delivery
• Strong financial understanding of business and IT including general understanding of IT terminology
• Ability to interact with cross functional teams
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to learn, follow, and conform to existing processes and able to build and sell new processes where gaps exist
• Must demonstrate the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
• Able to bring order to chaos
• Experience with SAP ERP software, Service Now, MS Project, and SharePoint preferred.
