Inspector, In-Process

Job Description/Functions:
- To perform routine audits of the manufacturing process by visual inspection. Data collection using IPC-A-610 (current Rev. Level) and company procedures
- Inspects visually for obvious defects
- Performs assigned routine audits on assemblies in process where results are compared with company quality standards. Reports results to supervisor that will review and take necessary action.
- Removes non-conforming material from process where found
- Records results on inspection forms and reports number of defects found
- Posts inspection data
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One to three years experience in manufacturing electronics
- Ability to read components and assembly/mechanical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret procedures
- Some lifting required
- IPC-A-610B (current Rev. level). Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes.
