Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with colleagues across other facilities and the global engineering team to establish and implement control system maintenance and operation standards. Ensuring compliance with these standards at the Siler City factory.
• Troubleshooting programming and system faults related to plant equipment. Modifying existing programs to enhance sequencing, alarms, and troubleshooting capabilities within the plant's PLCs, HMIs, and automated systems.
• Working alongside Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineers to enhance system efficiency across the site.
• Identifying and resolving network communication issues.
• Leading the implementation of practices such as ISA18.2, ISA101, and high-performance HMI.
This role is a good fit for you if you meet the following minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Proficiency and experience in troubleshooting integrated HMI/PLC control systems, including evaluating and modifying associated programming and devices.
• Working knowledge of Siemens PLC and Ignition SCADA, with preference for Core or Gold certification.
• Familiarity with Networking and Industrial Protocols, CPwE architectures, and IEC62443 standards
