What You Will Contribute:


The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project. Badger Meter is hiring an Internal Marketing Communications Intern. The Internal Marketing Communications Intern will assist the Human Resources Communications & Talent Brand team at Badger Meter by enhancing the employee experience through Badger Meter internal communication channels. The Internal Marketing Communications Intern will gain experience developing and executing employee communication campaigns utilizing both print and digital platforms to ensure we are effectively engaging with our global employee base. Additionally, the Employee Communications Intern will also support the day-to-day management of the employee intranet site, OneDrop, gaining website management experience.

  • Assist the Sr. HR Communications & Talent Brand Specialist with the development and execution of internal communications including, but not limited to, digital TV screens and company newsletters.
  • Support the employee intranet site, OneDrop, managing day-to-day updates, developing and updating department spaces and identifying opportunities for an optimized user experience.
  • Support the global HR team in developing a global Badger Meter career brand, focused on creating a consistent user experience for both internal and external job applicants on the Badger Meter Careers' website and social media channels.
  • Support both HR and Global Marketing Communications teams to ensure all assets follow Corporate Brand & Style Guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement that increase employee engagement through communication channels.
  • Support with the set up and launch of the annual global employee engagement survey program.
  • Additional projects, tasks, and/or assignments as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or related degree
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
