Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Engineer in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader that will support and guide you in your career. This is a first shift position.
As a Quality Engineer you will:
- Respond to customer complaints in customer feedback system.
- Perform routine failure analysis of returned complaint samples.
- Plans, executes, and documents results of product stability testing with guidance from experienced Product Assurance engineers, including managing samples and performing analytical testing.
- Performs analytical tests as required in support of department and division goals
Estimated Duration 24+ months.
The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in engineering, chemistry, or a life science.
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical testing experience using instruments such as HPLC, UV spectrophotometers, Karl Fischer titrators, rheometers, Instron stress and strain testers, pycnometers.
- One or more years' experience in a quality engineering or quality technician role.
- Experience working in a quality or technical role in the medical device industry.
- Skills include written communication in English, organization skills applied to managing multiple samples and testing conditions, project management skills.
Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.71 hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
