Position Overview:

The role of the IT Business Solution Analyst will enable the transformation of business processes and maximize the value from the technology solutions (SAP, others) enabling the processes. You will be part of a global business transformation program enabled by SAP S4 HANA and other solutions. You will be focused on business value realization and business process excellence.

Our vision is to create and deliver innovative solutions to drive sustainable transformation across the Group. This role will coordinate with changes and manage cross-functional business stakeholders across Finance and Supply Chain.

Your understanding of end-to-end business processes and working with stakeholders to assess improvement opportunities and turning business needs into requirements for building IT solutions is a critical success factor. You will manage strategic discussions with business stakeholders centered around processes.

This role must understand business processes holistically, gather requirements and analyze data across the business value stream, shape these it into solution, and work with core technology teams to deliver.

Warehouse Management

  • Candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of SAP supply chain modules (MM, SD, WM, EWM).
  • Must have SAP WM/EWM implementation experience.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify improvement opportunities within Inbound and Outbound processes.

Responsibilities

• Design cross functional Business Processes in collaboration with functional Business stakeholders and Key Users

• Focus on outside-in views and implement new and innovative digital solutions to make processes efficient and automated.

• Document Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Process Design/Flows in Business Process Management solutions like Signavio

• Lead work streams of the continuous improvement projects. Develops and executes savings opportunities, efficiencies and process improvements.

• Takes a proactive role in understanding the processes to ensure process alignment across business teams.

• Provides regular proposals for process transformation and improvement based on knowledge of third party capabilities aligned with the organization requirements.

• Driving process transformation, with a focus on realization of benchmark levels of costs, performance and return on investment.

• Collect and provide performance measures, develop reports, and analyze findings to identify areas for process improvement (project prioritization).

• Analyzing requirements coming from localization and initiate and sponsor any change requests where relevant.

• Ensure that the implemented solutions support the processes according to our design and industry best practices.

• Contribute to the change management process to ensure that the new processes are properly understood and adopted by our teams: support/facilitate organizational impact analysis and changes, contribute to end-users training strategy and change management.

• Business oriented with intensive and very direct interactions with technology teams and workstream colleagues.

• Support Novelis North America IT business engagement activities. Identifies and aligns IT enablers to support business initiatives and provides input to project roadmap and project prioritization process.

• Collects requirements, coordinates work from technical resources, contributes to the technical design, using creative-thinking expertise and solution prototypes.

• Develop, configure, and present alternative solutions. Can build data-derived, but simplified models that can solve complex problems and can provide recommended solutions.

• Details information systems projects status, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, data dictionaries, crosswalks, design specifications, test plans and scripts, etc. and performs quality control and facilitates user acceptance testing.

• Builds and delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training

• Proactive self-starter that is highly effective both when working independently, and on a team of intelligent and driven professionals.

• Adhere to governance of protocol for IT engagements, prioritization of work, maintenance of portfolio and resource alignment. Adhere to established Agile and hybrid methodologies.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related fields. An MBA or equivalent business graduate degree is preferred.

• Must have minimum 5-7 years of ERP functional experience and IT related project methodologies and life cycles

• Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of business principles, concepts and terminology in Finance, Logistics, Industrial Operations, and Supply Chain processes.

• Manufacturing industry experience, "process manufacturing" along with Material Resource Planning (MRP) experience (production planning, scheduling, and inventory control system), preferred.

• Process driven analytical and critical thinking skills. Use of data analytics, and the ability to problem-solve and implement innovative, data-driven solutions.

• Proficiency in performing data retrieval, input, and/or general use of SAP, Power BI, Power Apps or Other Business Warehouse software. Able to actively learn new data management systems quickly and perform with limited guidance.

• Experienced in business process re-engineering or using Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve business and operations (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, etc.) in a work environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication/documentation skills
