Provide support for production transactional entries including but not limited to monitoring warehouse management system and inventory management system to ensure ERP system remains in sync and any errors that arise are appropriately addressed with root cause analysis performed to reduce future similar errors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide critical support for inventory movements within the SAP ERP system. This includes supporting movements to and from Third-Party Logistics facilities or other facilities within the organization.
• Monitor and resolve negative stocks inventory or materials in incorrect bins.
• Perform periodic review of material movements for accuracy including production and shipments daily.
• Resolve any inventory transaction that is preventing or inaccurately reflecting appropriate inventory movement.
• Investigate any significant inventory variances using root cause analysis.
• Provide recommendations for inventory transactional improvements.
• Provide support to warehouse to complete regular cycle counts and maintain cycle counts records.
• Prepare count sheets from ERP system for annual physical count process and coordinating count results financial review.
• Assist with the development or improvement of ERP processes. This may include collaboration with other internal departments, other facilities within the organization or Corporate lead teams.
• Coordinate ERP transactional training to all facility personnel on all shifts.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement
• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
• Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Inventory and shipping experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Superior SAP program knowledge
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem solve using the combined talents of various individuals within DFA
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Effectively manage time, energy, and resources to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
• Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems, specifically Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and e-mail
• Create training presentations
• Lead employee educating classes with effective communication skills
• Prioritize tasks and work independently meeting multiple deadlines
• Able to speak in front of large groups
• Follow written and verbal directions
• Work with formulas in spreadsheets and to generate charts and graphs
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
