The primary roles of this position are to track, review and coordinate the execution of Bank agreements and administer the contract management solution, assists the lawyers, vendor relationship owners and Contracts Paralegal with the administration of the contract review process, and serve as an administrative and legal assistant to the Bank's In-house Counsel.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Bank's contract management cloud-based solution.
  • Assist General Counsel with respect to System and Government Relations matters.
  • Coordinate internal and external department communications.
  • Help manage the Bank's insurance portfolio to ensure that coverage is adequate at a reasonable cost, and that claims are properly handled to protect the Bank.
  • Make recommendations and implement solutions; assist with preparation, review and tracking of revisions to the departmental procedures related to contract review.
  • Serve as liaison for the Legal department in communications and reporting from other departments including action plan monitoring, internal audit observations, FHFA reporting, compliance efforts and records management.
  • Support Legal contract reviews including ensuring contracts and supporting information are compiled.
  • Support the development of department communication in partnership with the Bank's internal communications department.
  • Support the development of monthly committee, board reports and create department reports as requested
  • Act as Legal department liaison to IT department with regard to the Bank's contract management cloud-based solution.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' general administrative experience required; banking/finance industry experience helpful.
  • Experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm or corporate setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 50+ WPM accurate typing.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize department work.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Database management experience preferred, and cloud computing software administration experience helpful, but not required.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • PC skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) with significant experience using PowerPoint highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00

This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
