Litigation Legal Assistant (Encino)

Growing law firm in Encino is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, a strong understanding of the civil litigation lifecycle, and excellent communication and time management skills. The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys in cases related to wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, labor and employment litigation, and business litigation.

The Litigation Legal Assistant's Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drafting basic legal documents and shells
• Preparing correspondence
• E-filing with state courts
• Tracking and calendaring deadlines
• Assisting with trial and deposition prep
• Updating and maintaining case documents

Required Experienced

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience
• Experience e-filing with state courts
• Strong writing and proofreading skills

Compensation range: $50k - $70k annually depending on experience
