JOB SUMMARY:
As the Legal Secretary, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal team. Your primary responsibilities include organizing files, preparing documents and exhibits, and managing calendars to meet deadlines efficiently. You'll be the backbone of support for our attorneys, offering top-notch organization and proactive assistance in all client-related matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate attorney schedules, arranging conferences, depositions, and other events as needed.
- Keep track of important dates, filings, and court requirements.
- Act as a liaison between courts, clients, and vendors.
- Handle all incoming correspondence and manage mail.
- Assist in drafting legal documents and agreements.
- Initiate new matter requests and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare exhibit lists and organize documents for legal proceedings.
- Ensure proper file naming conventions and archive completed matters.
- Assist in preparing documents for attorney meetings and hearings.
- Establish physical files for new cases and manage client requests effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all tasks.
- Thoroughly document activities in our database.
- Contribute actively to team discussions and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and growth.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake special projects as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro, CompuLaw, and HotDocs.
- Background in Healthcare preferred.
