The purpose of this position is to build, execute and monitor 1:1 personalized communication and offers by leveraging first, second- and third-party data sources through Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The manager will work cross-functionally as a liaison between the CRM team and Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, Consumer Insights, IT and App/Web Development teams. A blend of omni-channel marketing strategy, ability to explain technical processes to non-technical audiences and a strong understanding of database concepts and programming will be necessary for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM and Customer Profiling -- Manage and leverage the CRM and personalization platforms to identify, segment and target the right people with offers and personalized communication across all marketing channels.
Campaign Execution -- Partner with cross functional stakeholders to develop and execute campaigns to optimize guest loyalty and lifetime value. Work with analytics team to build statistically sound control group designs which support optimization and insight generation.
Campaign Tool Ownership -- In partnership with IT, own and enhance the CRM execution tool. Assess and augment areas of weakness in effort to build a best-in-class CRM and Personalization platform.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, Analytics or Economics required
Graduate degree preferred
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience with CRM / database marketing and customer analytics (loyalty and retention)
5+ years of CRM execution tool experience, using Salesforce, Unica, SAS, Marketo and/or other CRM execution tools
2+ years of data analysis experience, using SQL, R, python, and / or other data analysis tools
Experience working with CRM and customer analytics in hospitality, travel, retail, or consulting environments
Demonstrated experience in partnering with key stakeholders to deliver results
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results
Conscientious about meeting project deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Personal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humor
Passion for the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations
