The Role:

Moderna is searching for a Global Digital Life Cycle Manager who will be responsible for Global Digital Life Cycle Management of Software and Hardware Asset Management. The Global Digital Life Cycle Manager will oversee the development and expansion of Moderna's current asset management system. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Digital End User Satisfaction and be in Atlanta, GA. Here's What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with End User Experience Team, Strategic Suppliers on hardware standards, laptops, desktops, peripherals, and finance business partners to ensure budget compliance
  • Negotiate competitive pricing on all hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Prepare and process purchasing forms such as purchase orders; verify appropriateness of budget codes and cost centers
  • Leverage ServiceNow Asset Management/Procurement workflows enabling E2E visibility
  • Develop appropriate sources of supply and maintain cooperative working relationship with Procurement, Finance, and external vendors
  • Track software licenses and audit software data within Software Asset Management Database
  • Initiate bid/quote process for services, supplies and equipment; consults with users and outside consultants to develop specifications; prepares purchasing documents and oversees the purchasing process
  • Oversee the financial, contractual, and inventory analysis data to support enterprise life cycle management for Digital assets
  • Ensure the organization manages its existing assets effectively via optimization, redistribution and avoiding unnecessary purchases and eventually recycling
  • Make recommendations for new Hardware and Software Asset Management policies, assist with enforcing existing controls, and investigate licensing issues and address audit inquiries as directed
  • Collect and analyze discovery and procurement inventory, incorporating usage and contractual data to report on compliance and true-up
  • Simplify asset landscape, reduce costs, mitigate license risks, and automate with workflow

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 7+ years of technical experience in an Information Technology role
  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • 3+ years in Hardware & Software asset management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cross functionally at most levels required
  • Strong analytical skills and proven methodical problem-solving ability required
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi- task or reprioritize resources or tasks for delivery in a fast-paced changing environment required

  • Software Asset Management certification is preferred
  • Hardware Asset Management certification preferred
  • Proven track record of success with customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to help support collection of software licenses for both internal and external software reviews and audits

Moderna's Enterprise Solutions Hub in Atlanta provides enterprise solutions similar to its counterpart in Warsaw, Poland, which was established in May 2021. Moderna's Hub in Atlanta will initially focus on delivering finance, human resources, procurement and digital solutions. Moderna is expecting to hire approximately 150-200 full time employees in the Atlanta Hub over the next two years.
