Summary

This position works in conjunction with facility management and project development teams to ensure building maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, this position may oversee construction vendors who perform remodeling, additions, maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, janitorial, general grounds, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, security, and electrical systems.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports an assigned region to support facility maintenance including capital improvement projects and ongoing building maintenance.
  • Participates in developing capital improvement budgets.
  • Reviews budgets and proposals for maintenance and building improvements.
    Monitors completion of improvement projects.
  • Works with project management team and on-site facility managers building improvement needs.
  • Performs on-site facility assessments after purchase order requests are submitted for physical structure repairs or improvements.
  • Makes alternative recommendations for repairs or maintenance of physical structure.
  • Communicates with project development team and facility managers on the status of maintenance and capital improvements.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors and monitors completion of major repairs.
    May oversee outside or internal workers engaged in maintaining the facility’s physical structure including plumbing, carpentry; painting; plastering; machine servicing; janitorial; general grounds; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; security; and electrical systems.
  • Oversees software used by the facilities to open, close and track work orders.
    Generates, updates, and maintains reports of job status to project development team.
  • Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations.
    Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Ten (10) years of facility maintenance experience.
  • Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays.
  • Knowledge of all aspects associated with facility management.
  • Ability to work with personnel with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to use computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
