Base Salary: ~ $85k- $110k (Negotiable - Depending on experience)

What You Will Be Doing The Manufacturing Process Engineer fulfills a critical on-site role responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process while supporting daily production. Primary duties include; product support for order fulfillment, design and implementation of fixtures and equipment, test systems support, analyzing all processes and systems for quality & efficiency, planning factory layouts to optimize production, researching & implementing automation techniques, and acting as the operations voice and subject matter expert supporting the New Product Development process.

--Looking for someone who has an Electrical Engineering background or with circuit board, electronic equipment background--


- Work with the various teams to develop and deploy processes that help standardize manufacturing practices

- Support new production tooling runs at key manufacturing sites

- Identify productivity improvement opportunities and work with the manufacturing sites to implement these opportunities

- Developing standard operating procedures for key manufacturing processes, as defined

- Review the condition of the current manufacturing lines and work with the manufacturing teams to develop and execute equipment/line improvement plans

- Assist the plant teams in reviewing their equipment needs and helping to prioritize these needs for capital planning purposes

- Managing key equipment installations working closely with the manufacturing teams

- Lead systematic problem-solving teams to help identify root causes and permanent corrective actions for the key manufacturing issues

- Provide formal updates and reviews to senior leadership on key projects, tooling runs, and improvement activities that are being implemented

- Share lessons learned and best practices amongst the plants that will benefit from this information

- Drive best practices and continuous improvement through standardized processes
What You Need for this Position --Looking for someone who has an Electrical Engineering background or with circuit board, electronic equipment background--

- 3+ Years of Manufacturing Process Engineering experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Similar preferred

You should know some of the following:
- Process Improvements / Continuous Improvements
- Lean / Six Sigma
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- FMEA & DFMA
- New Product Development (Process / Projects)
- Quality Standards (QS 9000 / TS 16949 / ISO )
