Job Description

GPI's New England Branch is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing Marketing Team and help take us to the next level. This position will report to the Head of Marketing and work in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Specialist and Marketing/Proposal Specialist. Location is flexible across our New England Branch offices with the ability to work remotely up to two days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with the marketing team and technical staff to assist in the development and production of winning proposals and qualification packages.
  • You will assist the department in the maintenance and creation of proposal materials including writing, editing, verifying, and formatting.
  • You can work with staff to translate technical verbiage into easily understandable content.
  • You will assist the Marketing/Proposal Specialist in tracking proposal leads.
  • You will assist the Senior Marketing Specialist in updating and maintaining marketing information in Deltek VantagePoint.
  • You will assist the Senior Marketing Specialist with event coordination for conferences, career fairs, etc.
  • You will assist with other marketing and/or administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • You have 0-3 years of relevant experience - internships count!
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism or have experience in a related area.
  • You have a flexible attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are very comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • If you have experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, that's great!
  • If you've ever used Deltek Vantage Point, even better!
  • If you have some familiarity with the RFP/RFQ/RFI process and A/E/C industry, that's a plus.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
