JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

- Will report to the Molding Supervisor or take directions from Machine Attendants regarding the machine(s) they will be responsible for maintaining with supplies.
- They will be required to start preparing supplies (making cardboard trays or prepping boxes) for Inspector/Operators' finished products.
- All PPE must be worn properly, and they must follow the company policy on dress code. They must also be prepared with all necessary materials: safety knives, tape, etc.
- Provide supplies to Inspector/Assemblers such as handles, rubber gaskets, etc.
- Perform a final inspection on finished packages before they are placed onto the Central Conveyor.
- Collect all scrap from Scrap Areas and place it neatly and securely onto a pallet to be taken to the Regrind Area.
- Assist the supervisor in giving breaks to Inspector/Assemblers.
- Assist supervisors or Machine Attendants by removing product that is stuck on the conveyor belt.
- Assist supervisors and staff in keeping the department clean and organized.

Education and/or Experience:

A one-year certificate from a college or technical school in a manufacturing-related area; or six to nine months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, reports, instructions, and procedure manuals. Can write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively with employees of the organization. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
