Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Loads scrap from pallet to saw
• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift
• Load cut scrap to rack and when full band material, weigh banded material
• Move unloaded and loaded pallets with forklift
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments
• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space
• Keeps assigned work area clean at all times
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Good Computer Skills
• Basic Math Skills
• Have a good understanding of order entry and inventory systems
• Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
