Job Description:
POSITION: Part-Time Math Instructor/Tutor: Special Programs Coordinator; Tutoring Services; This position will work both on the Haverhill Campus (100 Elliott Street) and the Lawrence Campus (45 Franklin Street); MCCC/MTA Unit PT Professional Position; up to 18 hours/week (Occasional evening hours. Hours may be adjusted and compensated in alignment with contractual guidelines); State Allocated Position.
SUMMARY: Northern Essex Community College seeks to fill a part-time Mathematics Tutor for subjects consisting of Arithmetic, Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, Statistics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, and Linear Algebra. The successful candidate will serve students on both our Lawrence and Haverhill campuses as needed. The tutor will work up to 18 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, as well as a reduced schedule during the winter intersession and summer semesters.
