Feeney Brothers Assistant Fleet Manager

Feeney Brothers specializes in underground utility installations for clients such as National Grid, Eversource, and Liberty Gas. Duties & Responsibilities :
Coordinate preventative maintenance.
Assist in other fleet projects and tasks.
Take on projects as needed - assigned by the Fleet Manager.
Advise proper safety policies and procedures are in place and followed.
Ensuring that all Federal, State, and Local DOT, Environmental and OSHA and Safety regulations related to fleet repair and operations are adhered to, to include all related documentation.
Administer Regional fleet maintenance budget for labor, parts, supplies, and outside repairs.
Enforce company standards and vehicle operating policies; preparing periodic reports on operating costs; maintaining control over maintenance, collision repair, asset replacement and disposal.
Qualifications:
5 years Construction Industry experience. Familiar with Diesel Emissions Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Heavy Equipment, and Fleet Maintenance. Computer Diagnosis, and Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair.
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.
Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and managerial skills.
Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
Ability to effectively lead, influence and communicate with others both internally and externally.
Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
