Mechanical assembler $20-22.00 Franklin, MA

Hours: 8:00am- 4:00pm Monday- Friday

Pay: $20.00- $22.00 an hour

General Description:

This is a general assembly/production position performing the mechanical assembly and kitting of products. Additional responsibilities include dis-assembly, cleaning, and reclamation of materials from used product and periodic assistance with the packaging of product in preparation for shipping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilizes basic hand tools to produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies consisting of fabricated sheet metal, machined components, electrical and electronic components, as well as other materials
• Works from visual aids, manufacturing orders, assembly instructions, and verbal instructions
• Inspection and test of in-process and incoming materials as assigned
• Dis-assemble, evaluate, and clean returned filters in preparation for rebuilding

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 2 year's of mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Must be capable of comprehending written, visual and verbal instructions, and of writing accurate records
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without apparatus, heavier items with lifting equipment
