Summary:
Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes at minimal magnetic radio frequency dose.

Candidates will need to have the availability to work (4) ten hour shifts between the hours of 12:00pm and 10:30pm, work every other Saturday and availability to take call on occasion.

Starting salary for this position is $70,663 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
2. Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
3. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The Preferred candidate will have one years experience as an MRI Technologist, is ARRT certified as an MRI Technologist and has a flexible schedule.
