Baer is looking for MuleSoft Tester for a 12 month Federal Remote Project.

Title: MuleSoft Tester
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
• Analyze requirements, identifying test scenarios, and validating the functionality and performance of MuleSoft implementations.
• Collaborate with development teams and business analysts to understand integration requirements and design test plans accordingly.
• Identify test scenarios and define test objectives and strategies for MuleSoft implementations.
• Create detailed test cases and test scripts based on the identified test scenarios. Ensure that test cases cover the functional, non-functional, and integration aspects of the MuleSoft applications.
• Execute test cases, both manually and using automated testing tools, to validate the behavior and performance of MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
• Report defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Prepare and manage test data required for the execution of test cases. Ensure that test data is accurate, relevant, and representative of real-world scenarios.
• Track and manage defects identified during testing.
• Follow up on defect resolution with the development team and verify fixes to ensure they meet the desired quality standards.
• Generate test reports, including test results, coverage metrics, and defect status.
• Communicate the testing progress and any issues or risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to set up and maintain the necessary test environments for MuleSoft testing activities.
• Ensure the availability of required resources and configurations for accurate testing.
• Propose and implement enhancements to testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software testing, with a focus on MuleSoft integration testing.
• Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including MuleSoft APIs, connectors, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or JUnit.
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and related technologies.
• Experience in test automation using frameworks like Selenium or JUnit.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Bachelor's degree
