Neurology Lead, Southwest, Patient Services

Introduction to Role:

Join us at AstraZeneca as a Neurology Lead in our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. This leadership role is based in the Southwest and will manage a team of OneSource Support Specialists. You will be at the forefront of providing support for our patients, caregivers, and external partners, ensuring an excellent patient experience through ongoing coaching and development. This is your chance to reimagine the patient journey and bring it to life!

Accountabilities:

As a Neurology Lead, you will lead a regionally aligned team of OneSource Support Specialists, coaching them to continually improve patient support services. You will provide direct feedback on individual and team performance, use data to drive efficiency, and foster partnerships with field leadership. You will also support the creation and implementation of new patient-centric strategies and tactics, ensuring the highest level of support for all stakeholders.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- 3+ years of Patient Services or similar operational experience
- Passion for patient-centric actions and focus
- Experience with working across groups and presenting to leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, knowledge of business protocol, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work independently

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
- Experience leading teams through change
- Advanced degree a plus
- 2+ years of team leadership
