The Operating Room Assistant (ORA) is responsible for transporting patients, cleaning ORs, maintaining a clean environment, moving equipment, delivery of specimens, second scrubbing PRN, and other duties as assigned. The ORA functions as a member of the Perioperative Nursing team who has specific knowledge, skills and training to work in an Operating Room Environment.

Hours:

7A -330P Mon to Fri with occasional weekends and holidays

This position may be required to work various shifts in all 4 Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACU).

Qualifications
* High school graduate or equivalent required.
* Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
