Overview

Support, coordinate and execute key Product Management/Purchasing Operations processes. Ensure that processes are effectively managed and opportunities for improvement are implemented and shared across the team. Resolve complex issues from problem identification through root cause resolution. Provide business functional support globally across the organization and supply base. Perform customer administration for any and all applications. Responsible for the synchronization of data between LN and Applications. Initiate daily communications to/from all internal and external users globally. Initiate supplier review program by gathering supplier information and coordinating the reviews. Manage the supplier information in regard to certificates of insurance, product regulatory and compliance, and contract data.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate application communications with internal and external users globally as well as with Snap-on I/T team and the software provider's support team. Articulate issues, instructions, features and functionality clearly and concisely. Support EDI onboarding and transactions with suppliers within the application
  • Maintain systems by researching and resolving problems, maintaining systems integrity and security. Test new releases and updates to ensure the features and functions provide the same or better functionality. Develop and conduct training sessions with users as necessary to eliminate procedural errors
  • Provide functional support for all aspects of the applications to all users (internal and external) globally
  • Develop work instructions for all tasks and duties as well as cross-training for all team members and personnel
  • Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks and duties to reduce the potential for errors
  • Look for and identify problems, take immediate action where possible and escalate when required
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies
  • Create, maintain, track, and analyze reporting within product cost database and SDS database
  • Coordinate the new supplier addition process and ensure all necessary information is collected and signed by proper authority
  • Coordinate, monitor, and organize contract review process, certificates of Insurance, regulatory reporting, and other product management functions
  • Coordinate Supplier Review process by gathering and organizing supplier data, assembling report cards, and leading supplier review meetings for assigned suppliers on a regular basis
  • Maintain, verify, and update files and records of Product Management and Supply Chain to ensure accuracy of product and vendor data information
  • Manage PA process from PA application creation - Item Master to PA retention
  • Provide support to Product Management personnel or projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience with electronic transaction management and web-based systems, preferably those utilized by purchasing, supply chain or logistics
