Job Summary

• Clean and fuel light-duty vehicles after use by university business travelers and departmental drivers.
• Check fluid levels, tire pressures, inspect vehicles for damages, and prepare vehicles for next rental.
• Remove and reinstall seats, hitch inserts, and other items as requested.
• Monitor work assignments and record completion using the FleetCommander system.
• Follows established Motor Pool protocols and procedure for vehicle inspection and prep.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required

• High school diploma or GED.

LICENSES

Required

• Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.

SKILLS

• Ability to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision.
• General computer knowledge.

Working Conditions / Demands

Ability to perform tasks requiring heavy physical effort occasionally in inclement weather. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to use a computer or mobile device, vacuum, carpet cleaner, and some hand tools.

Work Hours

Fleet Services Hours of Operation are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Hours for this position will vary and may require working outside normal hours of operation.
