Job Summary

Responsible for recruitment and retention of prospective students for graduate and undergraduate programs, primarily through the creation of a candidate pipeline among existing K-12 partners and/or the Bagwell College of Education alumni base. Serves as a primary liaison between contract partners and the Bagwell College of Education, providing instructional and technology-related professional development to faculty in K-12 settings. Presents training to teachers and other school personnel through face-to-face, blended, group and online settings while modeling the use of educational technology within classrooms. Supports the progression of students through the application, advisement, and program process. Represents Bagwell at conferences, job/career fairs, professional meetings, and other events to network and promote recruitment for the Bagwell College of Education.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborates with K-12 partners as a subject matter expert to provide professional development for teachers and administrators in the use of technology and other instructional areas to build relationships leading to partnerships and contracts
2. Develops and manages prospect relationships i.e., the generation of new partnerships and contracts to ensure that communication of program features, benefits, and advice are
customized for each prospective student, consistently communicating the value of KSU and how it meets the needs of the prospects, applicants, and admitted students 3. Serves as a liaison/consultant with K-12 partners and Bagwell College alumni in the recruitment of prospective undergraduate and graduate students and cohorts
4. Collaborates with academic program partners to identify and expand prospect pools, develops recruitment strategies, and executes outreach campaigns to meet set program goals
5. Partners with KSU admissions, K-12 schools, and colleges to ensure we have appropriate communications and identifies, organizes, and hosts an effective campus visit program, field trips, and other activities in support of enrollment
6. Liaise extensively with Admission Specialists in the Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions to facilitate the review and acceptance of applications and admissions, while maintaining confidentiality of admissions records
7. Represents KSU graduate and undergraduate programs at college, corporate, and other recruiting programs and events, including (but not limited to) organizing information sessions, open houses, class visits, workshops, and networking receptions
8. Collaborates with department leadership and marketing representatives to ensure we have strong and effective digital, video and print marketing materials
9. Collaborates with academic program partners, graduate enrollment management staff and other university administrators to ensure the smooth transition of students from admission to matriculation, including participation in orientation

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience
Five (5) years as an education professional that includes K-12 teaching experience and collaborating with K-12 teachers on instructional technology, supervisory and/or mentoring experience,
Experience presenting at professional meetings and conferences

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in education a related field
Valid, current, and unrestricted teaching certificate
Experience in classroom management and/or K-12 administration
Experience with instructional technology in the classroom
Experience in developing and facilitating online learning
Experience leading professional development training Experience presenting at local, state, or national conferences
Experience negotiating contracts

Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Able to fulfill travel commitments required of this position that include recruitment trips with and on behalf of Bagwell College of Education departments, labs, and units
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of technology and use of technology in the classroom
Experience with project-based learning and problem-based learning
Knowledge of the Bagwell College of Education services and academic programs to properly counsel and advise potential students seeking admissions
Maintains current knowledge of proposed legislation, policies, or articulation agreements that may affect undergraduate or graduate admissions

Demonstrates outstanding communication and negotiation skills, including professional writing, and public speaking
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills, always respecting and including diverse cultures and experiences
