Summary:
Prepares and assists in dispensing and distributing medications, including oral preparations, intravenous (I.V.) medications, IV chemotherapy preparations and total parenteral nutrition preparations under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist; maintains pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with Safe Handling Practices; fills automated dispensing machines (Talyst, Talyst pre-packaging machine, Pysix); assists with receiving pharmaceutical supplies and in the preparation of pharmaceutical orders; assists in repackaging of unit dose solid and liquid medications; maintains and files appropriate records according to Roswell Park policies and procedures.

Current New York State Pharmacy Intern Permit.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
