Your Role:
This position is responsible for planning & procurement of materials to support manufacturing of Solvents, Solutions and DNA reagents. This position reports to and supports the Production Planning/ Purchasing Manager & Master Scheduler. Working closely with Planning & Operations Teams to ensure timely receipt of Packaging & Raw materials needed for production.

• Support Master Scheduler activities with Planning/Scheduling/Expediting finished goods & Raw materials
• Analyze Planned orders for raw material requirements as necessary.
• Convert planned orders to purchase requisitions for Raw Materials.
• Generate monthly KPI's
• Create/update SOP's and Work Instructions
• Maintain strong working relationships and communications with support groups and key suppliers.
• Proactively report product and material availability issues
• Support Inventory management activities
• Maintain and audit key SAP planning master data
• Handle expediting requests from sales/CS
• Must develop excellent understanding of complex processes from beginning to end and all steps in detail to perform trouble shooting and process improvements effectively.
• Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
• Exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule
• Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned to meet business needs

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management OR 3+ years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling and Procurement or Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry
• 2+ years of experience in moving material through the product delivery cycle, proficient with a PC and data analysis
• 2+ years of experience in Supply chain planning, scheduling and procurement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from APICS or IBF
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Qlik, Palentir etc)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while driving results for continuous improvement.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in written and electronic record keeping.
• Strong communication skills a must
• Strong Organizational skills a must
• Must be able to prioritize daily/weekly tasks based on criticality with minimal direction
• Basic knowledge of material requirements planning & Scheduling techniques
• Project Management Experience
• Analytical thinker
• SAP Experience required
