What You Will Be Doing (These positions report to Sunnyvale CA, or Seattle WA areas and will require relocation, relocation packages available)
Description
- Specification, development, and deployment of measurement systems - Acoustic and vibro-acoustic simulations using FEA - Specify and acquire equipment, components, and tools for use in a NPI environment - Analyze large amounts of calibration and performance data (Excel/Matlab/JMP) - Estimated travel of up to 10% international travel
Key Qualifications
"MS in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics or a similar field
"3+ years of professional experience
"Deep familiarity with room acoustics and/or transducer design
"Experience with acoustic and multi-physics simulation (Comsol/Ansys)
"Experience with CAD tools, preferably NX/UG
"Experience programming in one or more of the following: C/C++/Python/Matlab
Education & Experience
BS/MSME
Additional Requirements
"Preferred Skills:
oPhD or 3+ years of professional experience
oHigh volume consumer electronics manufacturing experience
oExperience designing scalable instrumentation and HW/SW automation
oExperience working with contract manufacturers (CM)
oExperience with acoustic materials specification
oMac OS X experience
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills
