Your Tasks:
- Supplier / Customer quality contact for assigned production areas including Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR), Corrective Action (CAR), and Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) resolution
- Customer/Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) coordination and submittal/approval.
- Maintain successful quality relationships with supplier and customer through proactive activities and problem resolution.
- Participate in cross-functional problem solving teams (CIP) and lead teams in quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct/Lead designed experiments, capability study analysis, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
- Aid in component and tooling/fixture design and improvement.
- Gaging, testing, and inspection of materials.
- Update Behr quality documents on an as needed basis. This includes Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan documents.
- Conduct quality-related training of Behr personnel.
- Provide direction to Quality Technicians as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel 25%.
Your Skills:
- Four year Engineering degree preferred; BSME preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a QS-9000/TS-16949 environment.
- Strong background in statistics a plus.
