Our Role

Based in Sandy, Utah and reporting to the Global Procurement Manager, the Procurement Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of data used for spend analysis and reporting for the Global Procurement function. Accurate and detailed spend analysis is a key enabler to Graymont's Category management of Spend Categories which targets unlocking cost savings and cost avoidance.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Partner with the procurement function to drive cost savings initiatives through the use of analytics
  • Providing regular reporting, analysis and recommendations regarding opportunities for streamlining and/or savings and lockdown of instances of non-compliance or leakage
  • Drive procurement operational excellence through the use of analytics to ensure compliance, governance, and best practice
  • Monitor and report on sub-contractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations
  • Extract and present financial data for budgets and project commercial analysis
  • Support development and maintain the tools and templates required to support best practice procurement processes, including sourcing & contracting
  • Drive systems and process improvement projects within procurement
  • Support completion of vendor contract or catalogue creation or updates on a timely basis
  • Supporting the project and maintenance teams in presenting opportunities, seeking and compiling tender packages, evaluating RFT/RFQ's, and vendor management
  • Provide support for the planning, implementation and testing of systems (such as Open Windows, PowerBi, Computron) including enhancements and fixes
You have successful years of experience working in a procurement function and well experienced in using an ERP system preferably Oracle JDE. You have a strong stakeholder focus and a well-developed written and verbal communication skills Advanced excel skills with experience using pivot tables and vlookups are preferred for this role.
